For the last three months the BKM Marketing team has been working remotely, just as much of the country has. As Massachusetts prepares to enter phase two of reopening, we too are getting ready to slowly return to the office at our individual discretion. The truth is, today’s technology and our small size has afforded us the ability to continue to conduct business in much of the same way we would as if we were together in the office.
However, we do know that working together in the same space fosters creativity, sparks conversations that we wouldn’t otherwise be having, and allows for the ability to quickly bounce ideas off one another. This is what we’re looking forward to returning to.
With our roots being in print and direct mail we’ve had to put a hold on attending press checks. As part of phase one, we have started to safely attend press checks again and engage offsite with our outside partners in a safe manner.
As for our own onsite meetings, which will be optional and still limited, our goal is to provide a safe environment as we work together. We’ll be implementing some changes to office flow and the number of employees/visitors onsite at one time. Our primary goal continues to be the health and safety of all.
We know and appreciate that phase two and even phase three won’t bring us back to a ‘pre-Covid’ normal, but we will in some sense start to return to what we previously came to expect every day.
We’d love to hear from you. What are your office plans or will you continue to work remotely?
